So there's this beautiful peach tree planted in the most beautiful garden. And every peach is plump and perfect and looks so juicy and delicious and refreshing. Everyone you're with is so excited about this tree and these peaches, so you all grab a peach and run it under the tap, ready to devour it. It looks so good. You close your eyes and bite into it. Your teeth breaks the skin and hits the fruit. You tear off a chunk and chew. Swallow. And then...nothing. It takes like nothing. It tastes like sawdust. The aftertaste is bitter. And you're SO disappointed. You look around at everyone else and they're eating into their peaches. And they're happy. They're smiling and everyone is saying, "This tastes SO good!" You look down at the peach in your hand, and it doesn't look any different--in fact, it still looks pretty good--but you can't taste what they're tasting. You wish you could. And everyone is looking at you and waiting for you to say something, but you don't know what to say. So you nod and try again, but the same thing happens. It tastes just like the first bite did. And because you're too confused and guilty to throw it away, you keep eating. Everyone is ready for more of the fruit. You have to decide whether to sit out the next round or keep going. What do you do?
